Glur describes their menu as ‘comfort food’, and we couldn’t agree more. Every single dish is packed to the brim with delicious ingredients, and although this isn’t a 100% plant-based restaurant in NYC, the vegan menu is exceptional. Almost all dishes are available vegan and their ‘specials’ board will leave your mouth watering - trust us.

Try the Vegan Duck Noodle Soup - we’re obsessed.

Bodhi Kosher’s vegetarian dishes are made fresh every day and aim to make vegetarian food as accessible as possible.

Their menu is Chinese Cantonese, with divine dim sum and a whole host of other Chinese dishes. While it isn’t the fanciest restaurant on the list, it does what it says on the tin: delivers seriously delicious meals that don’t harm the planet. It’s a ‘YES’ from us.

Convinced that you have to wave your sushi obsession goodbye once you commit to the big V? Wrong!

Beyond Sushi is one of the leading plant-based restaurant chains in NYC, ‘reimagining plant-based food one plate at a time’. Everything on their menu is 100% vegan, and they’re well known for their unconventional approach to sushi.

Their dishes are globally inspired, and everything from the sushi to the desserts to the cocktails packs one hell of a punch. If you’ve never been before, give one of their Signature Rolls a try. You won’t be disappointed!

Avant Garden provides a little slice of vegan heaven in NYC. The perfect place to take meat-eating pals, Avant Garden has been described as ‘excellent food that just happens to be vegan’.

The food is special - really special. They offer upscale contemporary vegan dining alongside curated global natural wines. From their house made carbonara to scorched cauliflower, you’ll struggle to choose just one dish from the menu (a perfect excuse to go back time and time again, of course!).

‘A vegetarian shrine in another space and time’ - yes please!

HanGawi offers a varied selection of healthy vegetarian food all within the Korean cuisine. The seasonal menu is split into a tasting menu and a fixed lunch; both are packed with gorgeous dishes and different options. One of our current favourites? The Summer Appetizer Plattor, with stuffed apple and eggplant rolls in a spicy sauce, tofu ball skewers and mushroom and broccoli fritters. We’re drooling just thinking about it.

There’s something very special about P.S. Kitchen. Not only is their food - ahem - sublime, but they also donate 100% of their profits to their charitable partners.

That’s right - 100%. They call it the P.S. Approach: their vision is to create jobs for the marginalized in New York, donate 100% of their profits to sustainable non-profit work and to provide New Yorkers with delicious dishes that are kind to the body and the earth.

Their menu boasts influences from around the world; we’re slowly but surely making our way through all of it!
